Popular EZVIZ Cameras Explained

EZVIZ C6N and H6C Pro — Indoor Pan-Tilt

These compact indoor cameras rotate to cover a whole room, which makes them ideal for lounges, shop counters, small offices and keeping an eye on children or elderly parents. Both support two-way talk, so you can speak through the camera from your phone. The H6C Pro offers sharper 2K video than the C6N.

Best for: apartments, living rooms, shop counters, baby monitoring.

EZVIZ H8C — Outdoor Pan-Tilt

The H8C is a weatherproof outdoor camera that rotates to cover gates, porches and driveways. Colour night vision shows clearer detail after dark than standard black-and-white IR, and AI human detection cuts down false alerts from cars, cats and leaves.

Best for: main gates, car porches, house fronts in Bahria Town and DHA.

EZVIZ H3C — Outdoor Fixed Camera

A simple, reliable outdoor bullet camera for a fixed view, such as a gate, back lane or shop front. Easier on the budget than a pan-tilt model.

Best for: one fixed outdoor area that needs constant coverage.

EZVIZ H80x and H90 — Dual-Lens Cameras

Dual-lens models combine a wide view and a second lens in one camera, so you can watch the whole area and a close-up at the same time. The H90 adds pan-tilt movement for even wider coverage.

Best for: large houses, corner plots, wide driveways and parking areas.

EZVIZ CB2, CB5 and HB8 — Battery and Solar Cameras

These cameras run on rechargeable batteries, and the CB5 and HB8 can be paired with solar panels. No power cable is needed, so they keep working during load-shedding and can go where there’s no socket.

Best for: farmhouses, construction sites, rooftops, boundary walls, and anywhere without easy power.

EZVIZ HP7 — Video Doorbell

A smart doorbell with a camera outside and a 7-inch touch screen inside. See and speak to visitors before opening the door, from the screen or your phone.

Best for: houses and villas that want to screen visitors at the gate.

Key EZVIZ Features

  • EZVIZ mobile app: live view, playback and alerts for every camera in one place
  • Two-way talk: speak to visitors, staff or family through the camera
  • AI human and vehicle detection: fewer false alarms
  • Colour night vision: on many outdoor models
  • Local and cloud storage: record to a microSD card, or use EZVIZ CloudPlay
  • Easy sharing: give family members access to the cameras on their own phones

EZVIZ vs Wired CCTV: Which Is Right for You?

EZVIZ Wi-Fi camerasWired CCTV (DVR/NVR)

Depends on Wi-FiYesNo (only for remote viewing)
Upfront costLower for 1–2 camerasBetter value for larger systems

For one or two cameras in an apartment or small shop, EZVIZ is usually the smarter choice. For a full house or business, a wired Hikvision or Dahua system is generally more reliable and better value. Many of our customers combine both: a wired system outside and an EZVIZ camera indoors.

Tips Before You Buy an EZVIZ Camera

  • Check Wi-Fi strength where the camera will go. Outdoor gates are often far from the router, so you may need a Wi-Fi extender or access point.
  • Use a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for most EZVIZ models.
  • Plan for load-shedding. A small UPS for the router and camera, or a battery model, keeps recording going during outages.
  • Buy a good microSD card (a high-endurance card made for cameras) so footage records reliably.
  • Buy genuine stock with warranty, as imported grey-market units may not be supported locally.

EZVIZ Installation in Rawalpindi & Islamabad

Setting up a single indoor camera is easy, but outdoor cameras need proper mounting, weatherproof power connections and a strong Wi-Fi signal to work reliably. Viewtech handles it all:

  • Site check for Wi-Fi coverage and the best camera position
  • Neat mounting and weatherproof power connections
  • Wi-Fi extenders or access points where needed
  • App setup on your phone and your family members’ phones
  • Alert and motion-zone settings tuned to avoid false alarms

We install EZVIZ across Bahria Town, DHA, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is EZVIZ a good brand?

Yes. EZVIZ is the smart-home brand of the Hikvision group, and its cameras are known for easy setup, a reliable app and good picture quality for the price.

Does an EZVIZ camera work without internet?

It can keep recording to a microSD card without internet, but you need an internet connection to view it live on your phone or receive alerts.

Does EZVIZ work during load-shedding?

Which EZVIZ camera is best for a house in Pakistan?

The H8C is a popular choice for gates and porches, while the C6N or H6C Pro suit indoor areas. For areas without power, choose a battery model like the CB5.

Can I connect EZVIZ cameras to my existing Hikvision system?

Some EZVIZ models can be added to a compatible Hikvision NVR, but it depends on the model. We can check your system and advise.

How much does EZVIZ installation cost?

Installation cost depends on mounting height, cable runs for power and whether a Wi-Fi extender is needed. WhatsApp us your location for an exact quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest CCTV camera in Pakistan?

Basic 2MP HD analog cameras from budget brands like Pollo start at around Rs 2,700. A complete working system also needs a DVR, hard disk, cables and power supply.

How much does a 4 camera CCTV system cost in Rawalpindi?

A 4-camera HD system with installation usually costs Rs 40,000 – 60,000. A 4-camera IP system typically costs Rs 70,000 – 95,000.

Are Wi-Fi cameras cheaper than wired CCTV?

For one or two cameras, yes. For four or more, a wired system is usually better value and more reliable, because it records everything to one DVR or NVR.

Do these prices include installation?

The brand prices are for hardware only. The installed package table includes cameras, recorder, hard disk, cabling and installation.

Why do CCTV prices change so often?

Most cameras are imported, so prices move with the dollar rate, import costs and stock availability. Always confirm the latest price before buying.

CCTV Installation Company in Rawalpindi & Islamabad | Viewtech

Viewtech has been designing and installing CCTV systems across Rawalpindi and Islamabad since 2009. We started in Bahria Town and still run two branches there today — one in Phase 2 and one in Phase 8 — so our technicians are rarely more than a short drive from your home, shop or office.

Over the years we have secured villas, apartments, retail shops, clinics, schools, restaurants, warehouses and multi-storey plazas. Some needed two cameras on a gate; others needed full IP systems across several floors. The approach stays the same: survey the site, plan every camera angle, install neatly, and stay available after the job is done.

If you are comparing CCTV installation companies in Rawalpindi or Islamabad, this guide explains what we install, where we work, how to choose the right system and what affects the price — so you can make a confident decision before you call anyone.

Our CCTV & Security Services

Viewtech handles the full job, from the first site visit to after-sales support.

  • Free site survey — we visit, check entry points, lighting and cable routes, then recommend a camera plan.
  • HD (analog) CCTV installation — cost-effective DVR-based systems for homes and small shops.
  • IP camera & NVR systems — higher resolution, PoE cabling and smarter features for offices and commercial buildings.
  • Wireless and Wi-Fi cameras — EZVIZ and Imou setups where running cable is not practical.
  • Mobile and remote viewing — live view and playback on your phone, configured and tested before we leave.
  • CCTV repair and upgrades — dead cameras, DVR faults, hard disk failures and old analog systems moved to HD or IP.
  • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) — scheduled check-ups, cleaning and priority support for businesses.

How to Choose the Right CCTV System

Three decisions shape every system: how many cameras, which technology, and which brand.

How many cameras do you need?

PackageTypical fit

4 camerasStandard house, shop with stockroom, small clinic or café
8 camerasLarge house (5 marla to 1 kanal with rooftop), office floor, restaurant, school wing

A site survey is the only reliable way to finalise the count — corners, tree cover and street lighting often change the plan.

Which brand?

We install the brands that have reliable stock and warranty support in Pakistan. Read our detailed guides on Hikvision, Dahua and Tiandy, or ask us for EZVIZ and Imou if you want a simple wireless camera with app control.

Where to Place Cameras: Homes, Shops, Offices and Plazas

Good placement matters more than camera count. These are the points we cover first on most jobs.

Homes in Bahria Town and DHA — main gate (wide view), a second gate camera at face height, car porch, street view, back lane or servant entrance, rooftop access and the main door. Indoor cameras are optional and usually limited to the lounge entrance.

Shops and showrooms — a close camera over the cash counter, one facing the entrance to capture faces, one across the display floor, and one on the shutter from outside for after-hours.

Offices — reception and entry, corridors, the server or record room, stock rooms and parking. We avoid pointing cameras at individual screens or private areas.

Plazas and commercial buildings — every entrance and stairwell, lift lobbies, parking ramps, rooftop and a central monitoring point for the management office.

Night-time tip: in streets with little lighting, colour night-vision or IR cameras with a longer range make a big difference. Ask to see night footage on your phone before the team leaves.

CCTV Installation Cost in Rawalpindi & Islamabad

There is no single price, because the same 4-camera package can cost very differently on a 5 marla house and a 1 kanal house. The main factors are:

  • Number of cameras and their resolution (2MP, 4MP, 5MP, 8MP)
  • HD analog or IP system, and DVR/NVR channel count
  • Hard disk size, which decides how many days of recording you keep
  • Cable length and route — ducting, rooftop runs and multi-floor buildings add work
  • Brand choice and warranty
  • Extras such as UPS backup, monitors, audio or colour night vision

The fastest way to a firm number is to WhatsApp us your location, property size and the areas you want covered. We’ll send a written quotation, or arrange a free survey for larger jobs.

Maintenance, AMC and Repairs

CCTV systems in Pakistan face dust, summer heat and load-shedding, so regular care keeps them recording when it matters. Our Annual Maintenance Contracts include scheduled visits, lens cleaning, cable and connector checks, recording tests and priority callouts.

You probably need a repair or upgrade if you notice any of these:

  • Blurry, foggy or flickering picture
  • Night vision has gone weak or black
  • “No HDD” or recording errors on the DVR
  • Mobile app shows cameras offline
  • Old footage is missing when you need it
  • Cameras still record in low-resolution analog

Often a hard disk, power supply or single camera replacement fixes the problem — we will tell you honestly if a full replacement is not needed.

Why Choose Viewtech?

  • Since 2009 — more than 15 years installing security systems in the twin cities.
  • Two local branches — Phase 2 and Phase 8, Bahria Town, for faster visits and support.
  • Honest recommendations — the camera count and brand your site needs, not the most expensive option.
  • Clean installation — planned cable routes, weatherproof outdoor connections and labelled DVR/NVR setups.
  • Mobile viewing set up for you — configured on your phone and family members’ phones.
  • After-sales support and AMC — we stay reachable after the invoice is paid.

Viewtech also runs the local projects CCTV Bahria Town and CCTV DHA under the CCTV Pakistan brand.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a CCTV installation take?

A 4-camera home system is usually finished in one day. Larger IP systems for offices, plazas or warehouses can take two to four days depending on cabling.

Will my cameras keep recording during load-shedding?

Only if they have backup power. We recommend connecting the DVR/NVR and camera power supply to a UPS or inverter, and can size one for you.

How many days of recording will I get?

It depends on the number of cameras, resolution and hard disk size. A typical 4-camera 2MP home system on a 1TB disk keeps roughly two to three weeks of footage.

Can I watch my cameras on my phone from abroad?

Yes. As long as the DVR/NVR has a working internet connection, you can view live and recorded footage from anywhere.

Do you repair systems installed by other companies?

Yes. We diagnose and repair most brands, and upgrade old analog systems to HD or IP.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes. Our AMC packages include scheduled visits, cleaning, system checks and priority support, and suit businesses, schools and plazas.

Which areas do you cover?

All of Bahria Town Rawalpindi, DHA Islamabad and Rawalpindi, and most of Rawalpindi and Islamabad. WhatsApp your location to confirm.

Is the site survey really free?

Yes, for installations within our service area. You get a camera plan and quotation with no obligation.
